Division 43 Recap

The Oakland County Division # 43 is proud to announce our Div. winning team of Greg Mousseau and James Jackson.

Congratulations to them and all the other great sportsman and sportswomen who fished our division. You have made this season one of our best! Thank you for the great times and memories.

These anglers proved that bigger is NOT better…well in boats. Fishing the season from a smaller aluminum boat these anglers lead through most the season finishing with a huge total of points …. 370 points.

Their largest bag came from Oakland Lake on July 22, 2005 with a weight of 15.96 lbs anchored with Big Bass of 5.66 Lbs, (pictured below),also winning our “Big Bass of Season” side pot of $ 340.00 with that 5.66 lb largemouth from Oakland Lake.

Not only did James Jackson have that Lunker but also catching “Big Fish” a total of 4 times in the series.

The season came down to a real shoot out on our last event at Orchard Lake. Anyone of our top 5 or 6 teams going into this last tournament could have take the first place Divisional win. The next three place winners were 2nd: Doug Ratliff and his son Kyle Ratliff; 3rd place: Bill Head and Ed Schiller; 4th (Tie): James Fetterhoff and Dustin Rice. Great job guys!

Again thank you for a great season... see you at the CLASSIC and back at Cass Lake next year!

Remember the season's not over yet there is still plenty of great action out there to be had. Coming up on September 4 over on the east side we have the St Clair Series, St Clair Sunday Series and the Erie Anglers division going on so come out and join the fun.
