Welcome to NBAA

First, thanks to everyone for their great support, input and ideas through our first year with NBAA. Of course, we also all need to thank Skeeter and Karen Warner for all of their foresight, guidance and hard work for anglers throughout the Great Lakes. I’d like to extend a huge thank you to the Warner’s.

As you may have heard, NBAA is growing at an astounding rate. In
2004, we ran over 500 tournament events. In 2005, we’re projecting at least 700 events will be sanctioned by NBAA. It looks like we’ll be adding close to 20 new divisions in new areas and new states.

None of this would happen without the tremendous support we’ve gotten from sponsors. Skeeter Boats and Yamaha have stepped up to make our circuit one of the premier trails in the nation. I literally can’t list all of our new sponsors, but we would like to thank Minn Kota, Deka Batteries, Auto Value, Poor Boy, Solar Bat, Aqua View and all the others who have come forward to sponsor special events and awards.

We have added over 20 new sponsors that you will be seeing as the season approaches. We’ll make the announcements as the deals are finalized. Through all of this great sponsorship support, NBAA is able to keep membership low - in fact check out the membership form to see how you can sign up for just $20.00 per year.

We’re also able to offer great extra bonus awards such as the $5000.00 Black Jack Shootout, the $2500.00 Super Big Bass Challenge, and over $10,000.00 in special awards, cash and prizes. I think its fair to ask what sponsorship does for the angler. Each sponsor that we sign will have a direct documented benefit for the NBAA angler.

We’re excited about bringing you our very own magazine covering issues important to our members. We’d like you to give us your comments to make the next issue even better. In fact, we welcome your input and ideas on every aspect of our tournament trail. Our circuit is powered by the membership, so we take your comments seriously.
