It was a big day in Port Clinton, Ohio for the next to last event of the Boat Boys TNT Series. The teams launched out of the Coastal Marine on Lake Erie in Port Clinton. With the temperature reaching near 90º it was extremely hot and fishing was just as hot. With the first place team of Mike White & Clyde Yost winning with a very impressive sack of 5 fish weighing in at just over 21 lbs. Coming in second was the team of W. Englefield & Chris Cooper with just over 18 lbs and rounding out the top three was the team of Todd Thompson and Fred Tietz with almost 15 lbs. The big bass honors also went to the first place team of White & Yost with a bass just short of 5 lbs. Congratulations to all the teams that fished everyone brought fish to the scales and had a great time.

Also on hand for this event was the mayor of Port Clinton Dr. Thomas Brown. Mayor Brown presented director Steve Kirby the “Key to the City” in honor of the fist NBAA tournament to be held in the City of Port Clinton. For now, the city, in partnership with Coastal Marine II, is sharing Coastal’s facilities for transient docking and tournament activities.
