NBAA has had overwhelming response to our program since partnering with Skeeter Boats and Yamaha this past fall. We’ve grown from 46 divisions to over 90 divisions in at least nine states. Much of our growth is due to the great support that we’ve gotten from the network of Skeeter dealers nationwide. Even if you don’t own a Skeeter, these dealers are stepping up in a huge way to make NBAA the top team tournament trail and give each angler more to fish for. These are the behind the scenes things that anglers take for granted, I know I did in the past.
The Skeeter dealers that I’ve had a chance to work with have gone out of their way to help out NBAA, its directors and all of our members. Leaders Marine will host this year’s Gun Lake Blast Off at their Gun Lake facility. Greg Adams of Freeway has been a long time director and a huge help on the east side of Michigan.
Lake Drive Marine has helped coordinate this year’s Michigan Super Bass and helped with logistics at some of our events. Boat Boys and their staff have been instrumental in helping to establish our Ohio network of tournaments. Prop and Sail has helped establish our new Erie division. Tri Lakes will be working closely with our Michiana divisions. As we spread south, we’re finding the same great support with every new dealer we meet. These dealers support NBAA and they support tournament anglers.
