NBAA announces the all NEW Tro-Kar Black & Blue Divisions!
More Chances then ever to win with NBAA!
NEW – for the 2011 season, NBAA announces the introduction of the Tro-Kar Black & Blue divisions. NBAA will still fish all of the current Overtime and Weekend Challenge events along with a few new ones but there is a new twist.
The new format = 2 colors, Black & Blue. Each division will be assigned a color either Black or Blue. Anglers fishing in a Black division will qualify for the Tro-Kar Black Championship day, anglers fishing in a Blue Division will qualify for the Tro-Kar Blue Championship day. The top 50 anglers/teams plus a wildcard of the Black Championship Day & the top 50 anglers/teams plus a wild card of the Blue Championship day will move on to the third and final day of the National Championship. All anglers/teams will start from zero on the third day. The third and final day of the championship will crown a true National Champion.
Here is how it works. Each Overtime and Weekend Challenge Division will be assigned a color, Black or Blue. If you fish in a division that is assigned a BLACK color and qualify for the championship, you’ll fish in the Tro-Kar BLACK National Championship day. Same as if you fish in a BLUE division, you’ll qualify for the Tro-Kar BLUE National Championship day. NBAA will do its best to split up the divisions BLACK & BLUE so everyone will have a chance to fish in both divisions. There may be some overlap of colors in certain areas or a certain color may not be available in your area. Please contact NBAA and let them know if a division is needed in your area.
What this basically means is that an angler can fish in 2 divisions/2 colors and qualify for both days of the championship with the possibility of qualifying for the third and final day. Or an angler may choose to fish in one division but has the possibility of qualifying for two championship days.
Bonus/Lunker Shootout – For the anglers/teams that did not qualify to compete in the third and final day of the national championship there will be a special Big Bass contest. There will be a small entry fee and times will be set special for this event as to not conflict with the 3rd and final day of the National Championship.
Keep in mind, this new and exciting format will not affect the upcoming Championship on Kentucky/Barkley Lakes in the spring of 2011.
