NBAA Division Summary
Overtime Challenge Events:
Our most popular format, the Overtime Challenge is designed for a 3 hour tournament in the evening. Generally, tournaments start around 6:00 p.m. and run for three hours. The start times can vary and should allow for the angler and his partner time to arrive after work. Lakes in the overtime divisions are generally closer together and target a local group of anglers to reduce drive time. While most of these divisions are running in the evenings, variations can include a weekday morning division for a 2nd and 3rd shifters and weekend divisions that fish 3 or 4 hours in the morning.
Three hour series will run for 12 events, with a year end Divisional Championship for qualifiers (ask director for details) plus the year end Overtime Championship.
NBAA Overtime Championship:
Anglers will be competing for a chance to qualify for the year end National Championship. Each Overtime division will send the top 30% of the field to the National Championship, plus there will also be a wildcard event or drawing to give non-qualifiers a second chance to make the qualifying field. The championship will be solely organized by the NBAA and will consist of banquets, plaques, prizes and other items. Please refer to the Rules section for specifics on weigh ins, scoring and other details that you should be familiar with.
