Update 1 on 1 Championship!

The buzz has really started with the NBAA 1 on 1 National Championship just days away. With record numbers of anglers calling, e-mailing and registering on line this will be the BIGGEST 1 on 1 Championship EVER! No matter how big the field, one lucky angler is going to win a NEW Arctic Cat quad. While many others will win cash and great prizes. Plus, there will even be a free raffle and food/drink at the weigh in.

With the larger than expected field we’ve been getting a few questions.

Lodging - The Brookside Motor Inn located in Hastings about 20 minutes away could be another option for your lodging needs, Ph # 269-945-4182.

Parking – When you show up at Gun lake you’ll want to park behind the old Leaders building across from the ramp. Look for the NBAA staff in hunters orange vests and they will show you exactly where to go. After parking your rig, you’ll need to register.

Registration - Registration will be under the pavilion at the Allegan County Park, next to the ramp. You will need to pay your $50.00 entry fee at this time and pick up your boat number.

Meeting - There will be a mandatory meeting at 6:30 am. Details of the event will be gone over. After that you will be let go to launch your boat. NBAA staff will be on hand to help unload and park your rig. No boats will shot off until all anglers are in the water.

Weigh in – You must use NBAA supplied weigh bags to weigh in your catch. Bags will be released at approximately 3:00 pm.

Loading up – There will be NBAA staff on hand at the ramp to help you load your boat.
