Semple Wins - Last Gun Lake Super Qualifier!

The last of three One on One Super Qualifiers was held Sunday at Gun Lake. With Nearly 30 boats coming out in hopes of qualifying for this year's One on One National Championship at Muskegon Lake. With several anglers weighing fish in including several limits the angler that topped them all was Mark Semple from Fenton, Michigan. Marks limit of nice largemouth weighed in at 11 ½ pounds which topped the field by over a pound. Second place went to Troy Stokes with a limit of fish weighing in over 10 lbs including big bass of the day with a great largemouth coming in just under 4 lbs. Rounding out the top 3 was Chad Sterkenburg with just under 10 lbs.

We'd like to thank all of the anglers who came out for the Super Qualifier on Gun Lake and all of the Super Qualifiers that were held throughout the summer. These events have continuously gotten bigger and better with your support. The next stop for the One on One National Championship Qualifiers is Muskegon Lake. One of these fantastic anglers will win a new ATV sponsored by Arctic Cat.

Also, we'd like to thank Doug Scott & Steve Miller for traveling around the state and doing a great job running these events. Doug and Steve have put on many miles traveling from event to event and have done a fantastic job in organizing these tournaments.
