AUTO VALUE CORPORATE TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS!

NBAA recently partnered with Auto Value to host the annual Auto value Bass Tournament on Lake St Clair. Top local anglers were paired with anglers from Auto Value in this 7 hour contest. The bite was tough, but Paul Wagener fishing with Mark & Zack from Auto Value weighed in and topped the field with 15.62 lbs. Second place went to the team of John Gore fishing with Rob Cunningham & Chris Rolka from Auto Value. John’s team weighed in 4 fish for 15.58 lbs for second place. If they could have just gotten that 5th fish to bite this team would have won easily! Rounding out the top three was the team of Frank Schattler fishing with Todd Mumaw & Ed Mercer from Auto Value. Franks teamed weighed in just over 15 lbs. Franks team also captured Big Bass honors with a great smallmouth caught by Ed that tipped the scales at 5.22 lbs. Coming in on top of the Big Ugly contest was the John Gore team with a nice Catfish at just over 7 ½ pounds.

"This is a great alternative to a golf outing or other similar corporate outings” said Jim Harthorn, marketing director for Auto value, “The anglers really step up and everyone has a great time”.
