$$$ in Prizes at Bolingbrook Bass Pro Shops Meeting!

Directors of the NBAA Northern Illinois Spring & Fall Challenge, Bill Wennberg & Chuck Sabia really out did themselves this time. Bill & Chuck have been working with members of the Bass Pro Shops team at the Bolingbrook store for months planning this special meeting. NBAA Anglers from Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois came out to support this meeting and to hear what all of the excitement is about. The meeting kicked off with anglers rolling in and signing up for the upcoming season. Each angler received $5 off their membership, a free t-shirt and a bag of plastics just for signing up at this special meeting.

Bill & Chuck had a full day planned as several guest speakers were on hand and did a great job entertaining and sharing their skills with the crowd. First up was Justin Romines from Rayjus. Rayjus is the maker of dye sublimation tournament wear and is a national sponsor of NBAA. Justin did a great job answering all of the questions that angler through at him. I’m sure you’ll see plenty of northern Illinois anglers and others wearing a Rayjus shirt this spring and summer. Next up was former professional football player, Carter Campbell. Carter did a great job entertaining the guys and was full of great stories from his playing days. Following Carter was Chris from Tracker Marine. Chris went over many highlights of the new Nitro and Tracker boats. Plus, the group got a firsthand look at many of the new models. Next up was Bill Wennberg from the Northern Illinois Spring and Fall Challenge. Bill went over many details of the upcoming season and did a great job answering all of the questions from the group of anglers. National Director, Jack Horning from NBAA was also on hand. Jack went over many new programs, championships and other questions about NBAA.

Following the guest speakers Bill and Chuck had a special drawing for everyone who attended. Donations were excepted and tickets handed out. All proceeds of the drawing went to the Wounded Warrior Project. Thousands in prizes were handed out at this special meeting. Prizes from Bass Pro Shops, National Angler, Lock-n-Haul, Poor Boys Baits, Star brite, Rattle Trap, The Bait Bar, Jimmy Houston Outdoors, Sta-bil, Gamma Line, Lucky Craft, Mercury, Auto Value Part Stores, Catch & Release, Lazer Sharp, Chuck Sabia Auto Body and more were handed out. Everyone was very excited to see the amount of prizes that Bill & Chuck had put together. Anglers were walking out of the Bolingbrook meeting with bags full of great stuff.
