Divisional Championship – Division 17!
 Recently, 21 teams from Division 17 fished for over $3000 in cash and prizes. The special event was their end of the year divisional championship on Gull Lake near Kalamazoo Michigan. The morning started off cloudy and cool but things warmed up fast for the winning team of Ryan Olson and Neil Vandebiezen. This great team came in with the only limit of the event. Their bag of 5 bass weighed in at 13.68 pounds. Second place went to the team of Mitchell and Mike Tanksley who came in with 4 bass weighing 6.67 pounds. Lone angler Tim Chandler brought in 4 bass weighing 6.55 pounds for third place. Big bass was caught by the team of Brian and Brad Bowers with a smallmouth tipping the scales at 5.01 pounds. Second big bass was brought in by Brian Clark and Carlos Vergara with a smallmouth weighing 4.61 pounds caught with 10 minutes left to fish in the tournament.
Directors of Division 17 Brian Clark and Carlos Vergara would like to thank every angler that participated this year. This year was a tremendous success with an average of 25 boats showing up for every event.
