Nebraska Wraps up a great 2010 Season!

Nebraska Directors Jason Cyboron & Justin Semin would like to thank everyone for another great year fishing with Div 54 and all the sponsors who have contributed to our division. Division 54 wrapped up the season recently with a tournament at Mozingo Lake in Missouri. They had 8 boats in the division championship and 12 boats in a special invitational event. Other than a little wind the bad weather the day on the water was enjoyed by all. For the most part the fish were biting pretty well as several limits were brought to the scales.

Finishing in third place with 5 fish weighing 13.88 lbs was Brian and Rod Caughron. Second place went to Tom Graybill and Jerry Wade. They had a limit of bass weighing 16.47 lbs. Then our top team was Lee Wubbels and Doyle Languis with a 18.53 pound sack. Doyle and Lee also won big bass with a nice 6.12 lb bass.

After the weigh-in the there was a special pork and brisket BBQ for the anglers. E everyone dug in while the directors presented the payouts, plaques and door prizes. Everyone went home with something. Thanks to the NBAA, Lazer Sharp, Lucky Craft, Minn Kota, Stearns, National Angler Rods, Catch & Release, Mercury, Nitro Boats, and WFN for all of the great prizes that were handed out.

Jason & Justin would also like to congratulate the team Bob Walla and RJ Walla for winning the division points championship as well as the rest of the National Championship qualifiers; Mark Madison & Joyce Clark, Lee Wubbels & Doyle Languis, Jim Kuper & Keith Socha, Steve Wittenhagen & Jayme Goebel and finally Brian & Rod Caughron. On a separate note, Mark Madison was also presented with a plaque for winning the Lincoln, NE 1 on 1 division points championship.
