NBAA Director Fred Shippy Passes Away

Frederick Lyman Shippy, 40, of Grayling passed away on Friday January 6, 2012. Frederick was born in Grayling, MI on July 13, 1971, a son of the Balkis and Frederick Thomas Shippy. He married the former Shifrah Burroughs on August 5, 2006 at Mackinac Island. He was employed in car sales at Hodges Motors in West Branch.

Survived by his wife Shifrah, Daughter: Jessica, Sons: Freddy and Wyatt, Parents: Fred & Balkis Shippy, Sister: Holly Shippy of Dearborn, Brother: Steven (Jenny) Shippy nephew Zach of Saginaw, Mother in law & father in law: Debbie & Steve Burroughs, Preceded in death by grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2012 between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon and funeral service will begin at 12:00 at Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Pat Robbins officiating.

Interment will be at Moorestown Cemetery
