Hookin’ Up Heroes – Take Them Fishing! 

June 9th, 2012 - Hookin' Up Heroes will host it's third annual tournament on the Hardy Pond (Muskegon River). Differently than in previous years, this will be a multi-species tournament. Our anglers can and will target bass (as in past events) but will also target Pike, Walleye, Perch, Crappie and Bluegill. This change will give any competitive angler the opportunity to say "Thanks" and spend a day on the water with our Nation's Heroes.

Hookin’ Up Heroes are looking for boaters who would like to Captain a team in this tournament. Most teams will have 1 Captain and 2 Veterans and/or actively serving Service Men and Women. If you would like to help us 1) share the passion of tournament fishing, 2) bring these Heroes together to honor them, and 3) build fond memories and new passions, this may be the event you’re looking for. In addition to the tournament, there will be live music, a pig roast, a military fly-over, US Marine Color Guard and so much more.
