"Excellent product Jim. I use it on a 250 ProXS and it handles the gnarly roads, RR tracks, etc. Takes maybe 5 mins to set up - and I like the strength and small size. BTW my old school last 'motor toter' bounced off the trailer connection (stayed on motor) and jacked the motor when the bracket end hit the road and blew out the main ram top bracket and seals. Do the math." Todd Matherne - Houston, Texas

"After spending way too much time trying to find a support for my Mercury 115 Optimax and trying to make something myself, I came across the Lock-n-Haul. This is one of those products that is simple yet works perfectly. It took about 2 minutes to adjust for my application and has worked flawlessly ever since." Mike Shea - Long Beach, California

"Worked as advertised and money well spent. I would absolutely recommend this device." Scott Montgomery - Odon, Indiana

"Jim, I am quite impressed with the Lock-n-Haul. I have used it for almost 2 months and my motor has never been so secure. The motor doesn't shake, rattle or turn. It is an outstanding product." Robert Duval - Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

"The term "transom saver" has always referred to the support that connects the outboards lower unit to the trailer roller. his style was the only way to keep the skeg from hitting the pavement at one time. There have been power tilt systems on outboards for many years. These systems alone will hold the motor up and keep it from hitting the pavement. This is why motor manufacturers like Evinrude have a built-in trailering support, and Yamaha recommends the sleeve type that goes over the slave piston. They realize that these are better solutions than the old school method of wedging a bar between the weakest part of the outboard and a separate object that can and does move independently.

Lock-n-Haul maintains that since the modern transoms in boats are built to carry the weight of the outboard that they are rated for, and the power tilt system prevents any movement upward or downward, that the old style "transom saver" is obsolete. We go even further to observe that the best way to keep all of the motors rigging and steering system tight, is to also keep the motor from moving left and right. Our device is the first and only device available that fits all brands and about 90% of models and sizes of outboard motors, that will completely stabilize the outboard while being trailered. The unique Lock-n-Haul design features a patent pending inline load system that completely stabilizes the motor against the transom and will keep the motor from moving at all, up, down, left or right.

We believe that this is the very best thing you can do for your outboard, and ultimately for your transom by keeping the sudden bursts of energy from rough roads from ever reaching your transom. There has been plenty of discussion of this subject on this and many other internet forums, and you can find a wealth of information by simply searching for "transom saver". We would also like you to visit our website and consider the Lock-n-Haul as your solution.”
