NBAA Announces the NBAA Ultimate Tour!

As you know, the NBAA is one of the fastest growing tournament organization in the country. With this growth we would like to announce a new tournament division, the “NBAA Ultimate Tour Challenge” events. The NBAA Ultimate Tour Challenge events will be much like the Weekend Challenge tournaments the main difference is the entry fee structure. The Ultimate Tour Challenge Divisions will offer a high stakes tournament with higher payouts. As we grow and expand into new parts of the country we’ve found a need for a tournament with higher payouts. We feel these payouts will entice more anglers to see what the NBAA is all about. Some areas of the country anglers have to travel several hours to compete in tournaments. In these areas the tournament payouts often dictate if the tournament is worth fishing. Most Ultimate Tour Team Challenge events will have a minimum payout of $1,000 for 1st place in a 20 boat tournament and will payout one place for every 5 entries.

The Ultimate Tour Team Challenge events will offer the highest payback percentages of any NBAA tournament. Where else can you fish a 20 boat tournament where 1st place is $1,000? Just like the Weekend Challenge anglers compete throughout the season to qualify for a year end championship event.

Teams typically fish 5 events in the Ultimate Tour Team Challenge divisions. These teams will qualify for the championship based on standings with the top 30% of the field qualifying outright as well as “wildcard draws”. The teams that fish the Ultimate Tour Team Challenge divisions will qualify for the Red, White & Blue National Championships. The color or their divisions will determine which championship they have qualified for.

Typical entry fees for the NBAA Ultimate Tour Team Challenge is $130 per boat, per event, plus big bass. You can fish these Ultimate Tour Team Challenge events alone but keep in mind these events are designed as team tournaments. * Some Ultimate Tour Team Challenge may charge a higher entry fee, please consult your director for all of the details.
