NBAA Announces 2008 National Championship Site!
Houghton Lake to Host National Championship!
We’ve had tons of calls on this and now it’s official. NBAA will be hosting the 2008 National Championship at Houghton Lake in Houghton Lake, Michigan. If you were fortunate enough to be at the 2006 National Championship at Houghton Lake you’ll remember the fantastic weather, great fishing and a community that supported the anglers like no other. We’re very excited to be going back to Houghton Lake and the community is extremely excited to.
The 2008 National Championship will take place in the spring of 2009 in Houghton Lake and were expecting another great championship. With hundreds of anglers taking to the waters and thousands of pounds of fish being weighed in at our last event at Houghton Lake were expecting the fishing to exceed the last National Championship.
Houghton Lake is a great fishery that has an abundant supply of both Largemouth and Smallmouth bass and is Michigan’s largest inland lake with over 20,000 acres of fantastic fishing and hundreds of miles of shorelines and channels to cover.
As details are finalized will be passing these along to the anglers so stay tuned to the web and keep an eye out for the next issue of the National Angler magazine.
